At St Margaret Mary’s School, we have a simple philosophy: make learning fun and every child will respond to the best of their ability.
Our collaborative and unified approach ensures they are guided and supported along the way. We also believe that this is a shared experience between the school, the child and their family. We are on this journey together and understand the important role we all play.
At St Margaret Mary’s School, we know that healthy, happy learning begins from birth. The family provides the best start and the best ongoing support for their child. It is important therefore that a child’s introduction to formal education builds naturally and intuitively on this early experience.
We create a fun and exciting environment from Playgroup level, encouraging each child to become a confident, eager and enthusiastic learner, establishing relationships with friends and teachers that will follow them through their early years of schooling. Their formative years of Preschool and Reception become the stepping stones to positive attitudes about a lifelong journey of learning.
We provide for your family:
We encourage you to come along to see our school in action, and talk to us about how St Margaret Mary’s School can partner with your family.

We recognise and celebrate the rich diversity of our school community. For our students this means we are supporting the development of the whole person through the provision of contemporary teaching and learning experiences.
As a community we work together to develop and maintain relationships within our school, parish and wider community. We see the face of God in each other and encourage and value contributions made by all members of the community.
Developing a love of learning in our students is foundational to all that we do at St Margaret Mary’s School. We provide a comprehensive and challenging learning environment, as well as experiences which respond to the needs of all students in a contemporary society. In order to achieve this we believe it is important to work in partnership with parents and carers to achieve the best learning outcomes for all students.
As a Catholic school in the Josephite tradition we are continually providing opportunities for our students and our wider school community to be of service and to respond to the needs of others in our world.
We see the benefits of encouraging and acknowledging the positive participation of students within the school and broader community.
